Nails from the teaching block.  I chose to collect nails from the teaching block to submit as nails represent one of the building blocks of any building.  I was also struck that if one visits Coventry Cathedral, designed by Basil Spence (who had a huge influence on Gillespie Kidd Coia as a practice) you will see the medieval nails from the destroyed St Michael’s Cathedral on the altar to create a cross.  This is the first of three – this first picture of the general location of the nails.
