Workshop 2, June 2012. ‘The Diggers’ activity – excavating 1 metre squares across the site to reveal hidden surfaces and objects: tiled floors and set stones around the seminary area; industrial slag on the old tennis courts; tarmac where there was once a car park; rough cobbles on an ancient bridge.
